Important Message regarding USLacrosse Membership

Effective January 1, 2019, US Lacrosse no longer offers group event insurance. Now, ALL individual participants (players, coaches, and staff) - whether in league play or a clinic offering - are required to be US Lacrosse members in order to be covered by insurance. We are disappointed by this decision by US Lacrosse as we know it raises the cost of playing off-season lacrosse for our communities. We will continue to strive to provide reasonably priced offering to our players and families, even with these increases in insurance (and field rental) costs.

What to expect

What to Expect:
  • 12 v 12 League Play format
  • 17 - 25 players per team including a goalie. Confirmed teams with more than 26 or more players may be broken into 2 teams (we will work team coordinator to ensure girls are placed on the correct team) in case of an odd number of teams and increase number of touches girls get each week.
  • 1 regulation game each week. ( 2 - 25-minute halves)
  • Each team is coached by an experienced lacrosse coach
  • 1 Certified Professional Referees per game*
  • Players receive individual tips on their stick and game situation skills
  • Coach-led half time debriefings on team strategies
  • Table/League manager there for easy check-in and to help answer any questions or concerns for players or their families.
  • This is a competitive league, so it is not ideal for beginners.
*We often partner with our reffing association to provide an avenue for refs to receive training; we believe this helps us all get better. As we partner, refs focus on instruction during half time and time-outs, so as not to affect the quality or length of the games.

Goalies not with confirmed teams will be placed on a Free Agent waiting list. Once all confirmed teams have determined if they need a goalie or not Free Agent goalies will be placed on a team if needed

Note To Players

  • Bring goggles, a mouth guard, stick, cleats, and water each week.
  • Arrive 20 minutes early the first week, to check in and get your pinnie.
  • Our coaches stress that they are there to help you get better. If you want specific feedback on a skill, please do not hesitate to ask; our coaches love to help!
  • We want to make this experience valuable to you as a player; if you are having any negative experiences - please bring these to the attention of the coaches, table manager, or e-mail us at lacrosse.connections@gmail.com right away, so we can help make things right!
  • Sign up early to ensure you can be placed on a team with friends. WE CANNOT guarantee placement or pinnie size if you sign up with only a few weeks before the start of the league.
  • All athletes playing in the league must be registered. If you want to split a spot with a friend, please e-mail lacrosse.connections@gmail.com.
